# What is Centralium?

Centralium is both a sustainable Layer 1 PoS blockchain and a decentralised blockchain interoperability solution. The Centralium Layer 1 PoS blockchain is a full Binance-like environment that works with industry standard Binance tools, DAPPs and protocols.
